I had to have a little word with myself after my recent blog on Trainers. Whilst I stand by all I said, once the Nike box arrived containing the Liberty Roche pair , I realised that, whilst I might love them in principle, in reality, for my life, where, basically no one gives a s*** , whether what I'm wearing is ahead of the curve, style wise, I'm far better to choose something versatile and enduring.
The Nikes went back. In fact most of my internet buys go back. I fear I'm in the grips of a kind of retail bulimia and I'm working towards breaking the cycle. Doing this blog doesn't help , of course, but whilst I grapple with my demons, someone might as well benefit from all this superfluous research.
