Eye Spied 4

Yesterday I was looking for a pair of shoes to go with my Jolie Moi navy, orange and  grey pleated
midi dress. Sounds foul, but it does work. Only half looking you understand, just in case the ideal pair jumped out. Navy would have been good but, unless they are plain courts, as I've said before, they are virtually impossible to find. But, I found these fab orange suede ones from Marks and Spencer and in doing so, discovered block heels for those not convinced of their merit.

The heel is high enough to give lift but only 60 mm and therefore very easy to walk in. It's clear Perspex so, whilst still a block heel, swerves the clunky look which might put some of you off. On, they do look quite, dare I say, dainty.

They have the Insolia technology (oooo an ology ) which redistributes the weight away from the balls of your feet, reducing pressure and increasing ankle stability, so says Mr Marks and Spencer, which must be a good thing. They look great on which is the main thing and they are a reasonable investment, particularly at the moment with 20% off.

The orange suede was the pair for me ( today ) but they are also made in black suede which was very tempting. Sensibly, the insole at the toe is leather, not suede, avoiding that unattractive toe mark when you remove your shoe.

If you are considering block heels, and you really should as they are so big this Summer, but are  put off by height and "clunkiness" , these are the solution. Hurry before the discount end!
