I have this boot in Navy Suede and they are brilliant. Comfortable from the outset, they are the perfect heel shape and height. There's no deluded attempt to shape or slant the heel, it's the true , classic style. They work so well with skinny jeans and straight leg. Mine have never been off my feet.
It might seem counter intuitive to buy boots at this stage in the year but spray them with protector and put them away until it goes chilly again. Frankly it's still cold enough for boots now. Ankle boots look so much more on trend than the knee length boots we all wore last year. Snap these up now- you will be wearing them forever.
Sadly the chestnut pair are no longer available on line but they do make them in light brown. I'm not keen on that shade though, it looks a little anaemic. Its all a matter of taste though-you may think them quite the thing!
Another classic style Chelsea Boot which will stand the test of time. The leather in these boots has a grainy finish unlike the Maisie Hotel boots which are smooth and polished. They also have a rubber sole which is cleated. The effect is to make them more casual and rougher looking. It's simply a matter of taste and where you think you'll wear them.
Both pairs are keepers and I'm confident you will get a lot of wear from them. They are available on line in most sizes ( at the moment ) although I haven't yet checked the Stores for availability.
My advice is nab them now so that you're ready for when you need them.
